‘Nerdy’ is the new ‘Cool’

 

I’ve always been an avid note-taker. It is only recently that I’ve discovered that (visual) note-taking which was considered to be a nerdy thing to do back in school and college, is a celebrated skill in the digital product design space. I loved taking notes using pen and paper. Eventually, I switched to the tablet as it allows quick edits and can be played back to the audience instantly through time-lapse videos. These days, I’m the official scribe for marketing events and annual meets at ThoughtWorks - India.

It is a thrilling experience - the whole process of listening, seeing, processing and documenting the key highlights from each session and getting them ready for a quick playback. The following videos are a compilation of my manual and digital sketch-notes:
